I was born just outside of Milan to a heterogenous family of Italian, Czechoslovakian and Austrian descent. An only child and the youngest among my cousins, I have always found comfort in books and the stories I made up in my head.
I went on to study languages in high school and attended Modern Languages at the University of Milan for three years before realising that was not the right path for me, so I moved to London and fell in love with the city and everything British. Once back in Milan I enrolled and completed the undergraduate degree in Modern Languages and Literatures and moved back to the UK, where I now live and work as a Project Manager in a publishing house.
Coding has always fascinated me, but I was hesitant to try it. Last year I finally summoned the courage and I'm so glad I did! Matt Delac and his SheCodes workshop gave me all the initial knowledge I needed to start my journey as a developer. Apart from books, languages and coding, some of my other interests include: history, travelling, screenwriting and DIY.
